אשמח לקבל ההסבר על ההבדלים בין הסמיט ווסון 99 לוולטרP99

אני לא אבלבל לך את הראש עם ההסברים שלי.
מצורפת תשובה שקיבלתי מוולטר בגרמניה לאותה שאלה שלך:

Please be informed that the P99 is produced 100 % by Walther-Germany. The technology of the SW99 is based on the P99 and is produced under Walther license in cooperation with Smith & Wesson. The frame of the SW99 is made by Walther in Germany and the barrel and slide is made by S&W in the USA.

There are only differences in design and slide material.
P99 slide material: special gun steel, as all other manufacturers use it
SW99 slide material: stainless steel but with black burnishing

Apart from that there are no appreciable differences.

בכתבה שהתפרסמה לא מזמן במגזין אמריקני (combat handguns) נערכה השוואה בין הסמיט ווסון 99 לוולטרP99. למרות חוסר ההבדלים לכאורה בין האקדחים נתגלה יתרון לטובת הוולטר הן באמינות והן בדיוק.
