מצורפות תשובות למספר שאלות אשר הפנתי לחברת גלוק:

I currently own a GLOCK 19 and I would like to ask a few questions regarding my pistol:
1. Is it "healthy" for the GLOCK 19 magazine to be full (15 rounds) for a long period of time (can it damage the magazine spring or make its life shorter)?
2. Is regular gun oil dangerous to the polymer of which the receiver is made? What cleaning chemicals may cause damage to the polymer in case of contact?
3. Do you make softer recoil springs to the GLOCK 19 (for practical shooting)?

Regarding your questions that you have asked, firstly the GLOCK "Safe Action" pistol
magazines are designed to be carried to their full capacity. The quality of the spring which is
used is of superior quality. Pleased be advised that it is good to remove all the rounds from the magazine once in a while, should have a chance to do so. This will only increase the reliability of the magazine. This procedure should be adopted regardless of any make of magazine, and falls under the category of correct maintenance.

Secondly, there are no regular gun oils which are used to lubricate and clean firearms which will damage or be dangerous for the polymer components of the GLOCK "Safe Action" pistol. In fact the hi-tech impact resistant polymer which is used for the construction for the GLOCK "Safe Action" pistol is incredibly resistant to most industrial cleaning solvents thus making it highly durable and robust. However, we maintain that you use only recognised brands of gun solvents and lubricants.

Finally, GLOCK Ges.m.b.H does not manufacture a lighter recoil spring for the model 19.
However please be advised that one who owns and uses a GLOCK "Safe Action" pistol should stay away from using after market components. This is if you should you find an after market recoil spring assembly kit. Please note that these components are not endorsed by GLOCK as they have not been tested at all by the technical and development department of GLOCK Ges.m.b.H. Should you encounter any problems during or after the usage of these components you would have no recourse to make any claims. So our advice is please use only endorsed components which are manufactured by GLOCK for GLOCK "Safe Action" pistols.
