VOTE FOR ESPEN BERG-KNUTSEN!

Like in every other country in the world, the Norwegian shooters struggle to make it to the headlines in the nationwide media. The last two years of 22 medals for the rifleshooters in the European and World Championship has made this a little bit easier, and now we have the honour to have Espen Berg-Knutsen nominated to the title of “Peoples Sportman of the Year” in Norway in competiton with well know sportsmen and women like Ole Einar Bjørndalen (four times Olympic Champion in Biathlon), Ole Gunnar Solskjær (Soccer player in Manchester United) and Andreas Thorkildsen (Olympic Champion in javelin).

I want to ask you for a favour for the Sport Shooting, not only in Norway but all over the world. Please vote for Espen: If we can make Espen “Sportman of the Year” in Norway it would make shooting a better known sport in Norway. And if a shooter can be voted “Sportman of the Year” in very well know sport-country like Norway, it might be easier to make the shooting sports more respected in your country too!
